To plant garlic, it is advisable to do it when the sun is shining. This means that it should not be planted in the rainy season.

2. Prepare the planting media

  • Prepare some fresh garlic cloves.

At this stage there are 2 ways that you can choose, namely first by using sprouted garlic. For the garlic to sprout, store it in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 weeks until the sprouts sprout. The second, garlic without buds. Peel off the outer skin. Peel like when you want to process it into food.

  • Prepare the soil for planting garlic.

The soil needed is soil mixed with sand . Don't plant it in clay, because garlic doesn't like soft soil. For the best combination, use soil plus sand and also manure.

(like an ad, hehehe ) Cover it again with soil. On garlic shoots that have started to grow, plant the onions leaving the shoots above the soil surface.
    • Just do proper watering. Do not let it dry and do not make the soil muddy.
    • Apply fertilizer once a week. And don't forget to get enough sun exposure.
    • At the age of 2 weeks, usually the leaves will appear and begin to rise. Be sure to pay attention and get rid of pests and diseases that can damage your garlic plants.
